This Lady Luck Geocoin came from the gift exchange grab bag at the "Holiday Coffee House Social and Gift Exchange" GC2JD4V last night at the Buzz Cafe. Thank you to whomever gave it.
Appropriately, my wife grabbed the gift from the bag. She has also been known as "Lady Luck" on occasion, as she has an impressive history of holding winning raffle tickets. So this is actually her coin, maybe it will help her win the lottery someday.

On our way home from a doctor appointment we pulled in here to find this cache. We immediately saw a large bucket with a lid on it. Inside was a large logbook with several very familiar names on the first page, so we happily added ours to it. Sorry we had no SWAG. TFTC!

On a cold (but not freezing) winter day, my wonderful spouse of 50+ years brought me here after her doctor appointment down the street. I quickly signed the small log sheet for both of us, scribbling us in as SS7 & GL1. We'll be back a couple more times this month, and plan to do the Frank LLoyd Wright caches a bit NE of here. We'll be looking forward to the spring, one of our favorite seasons.

FOUND IT! Completed the Elton John East caches.😎 As I approached GZ, there was a young lady with a baby in a carraige, trying to get her to sleep. I didn't want to alarm her, so I told her what I was there for, and she was fine with that. I walked a few feet to GZ, put my hand in a couple of low dark and dirty spots.. and pulled out a cache! Mission accomplished! Thanks to Pfifdom for tending to several of these caches in the past few days.

I spent an hour the other week navigating to a cache with a wrong coordinate. Today with the right one I looked and looked at three or four possible hosts with no luck. Right before giving up, I checked one more host, and bingo! There it was! 😁

Stopped here after the new Star Wars movie at Hollywood Boulevard. I would give the place a high mark for the nostalgic lobby, but I would not recommend the food to anyone. A good mark for the cache (what a cool old tree) even though the cache was completely empty. I put in the only log sheet I had on me. Sorry that I had no swag in my pockets.

On my way home from a doctor appointment I revisited a few caches I've DNFd one or more times. I DNFd one earlier this morning (also hidden by this CO), before finding one cache on my way to this one. Which way would my luck turn here? (I was guessing south) So I looked around in vain for a couple of minutes... and then I spotted it!😁 But I couldn't reach it. So I walked around to the other side and grabbed it. Took another minute to pry the lid off, but the log sheet inside was in fine shape. Very good hide! The camo was simple but perfect. I could just as easy have looked right at it and not seen it, but LADY LUCK was with me!
