Blue Ribbon

Blue Ribbon lizard was created to remember the geocaching story Slyther and Gulp shared with us at the event cache Potluck (GC6BBC). Roaring laughter and a big applause was given to the Leapin' Lizards for their 'best' caching story which took first place. Great job and thanks for sharing the joy of geocaching!

We went to Las Vegas over the weekend to see the 2004 Desert Classic Darts tournament, which featured an epic final between former world champion Phil "The Power" Taylor and Wayne "Hawaii 501" Mardle. It also gave us an excuse to get out of the city and see Red Rock, beautiful standstone and petroglyphs. Along the way, we came across a hill with a cache filled with travel bugs. What better place for a lizzard than a nice home in the desert -- at least for awhile.

Blue Ribbon is still on its way to a new location. I wanted to take it with me on a trip this weekend and so I did not place it in Bear's Lair.

We came to the South Point on our way back to Kona from the volcanos. A great spot on a wonderful location. We decided to take this travel bug with us to a cache back home (in the SF Bay Area). Cricket the Dog loves to look for Lizards around local caches, so I hope to find a suitable location.
