Current Goal

I believe that every key holds a story. This travel bug is being released in an attempt to gather these untold stories. It will be interesting to have this travel bug wander aimlessly gathering tales of the keys that it collects on the key ring.

About This Item

Keys Last Seen

I am starting this collection of keys and stories with a key labeled "MADE IN U.S.A. ACE B51". This key belonged to the first Police Cruiser I have ever driven as a Rookie Patrolman with The Waterbury Vermont Police Department. The Police Cruiser was a Light Blue Chevrolet Caprice. The Cruiser is long gone and has been replaced several times over by now. This key holds quite a bit of sentimental value to me, so be sure to keep this travel bug moving.

Any type of key can be added to this travel bug. The rules are simple, add a key, then log a story about that particular key on this web page and then release the travel bug back into another GeoCache for it to move onto the next story teller.

Some of the stories I hope to see are things like the key to the first car you have ever owned, the key to your great granpappy's shed where he stored his liquor during prohibition, maybe even the key to John Gotti's prison cell... Who knows... That's what this travel bug is all about.

The key ring was a little full so I added an extra ring and a little bling. Will take the keys to a little chapel tomorrow morn in WA.

We saw the keys in the cache but didn't know where it wanted to go so we left it.

The heat led to a summer with too-little geocaching -- so this TB stayed still a bit longer than intended. We added a key to the ring and placed it in Twenty Years is a Very Good Thing when we brought that cache back to life today.

Now where were those keys?
