USS Grissom NCC-638

The USS Grissom's mission is to seek out and explore Geocaches all over Earth and to gather information to send back home. Keep her traveling at "high warp". Also be on the look out for any hostile aliens that could attack the Grissom. Be sure to get pictures of the USS Grissom at its locations and attach them to the "Ship's Log".

The USS Grissom is an Oberth Class Federation Starship designed for scouting and scientific exploration. The USS Grissom has a cruise speed of Warp 5, with a maximum speed of Warp 8.75 (emergency).

SHIP'S LOG:

STARDATE 080425.2012: The USS Grissom is commisioned and placed into service.

STARDATE 080428.0523: Starfleet Command warns of a rogue Klingon Bird of Prey.

STARDATE 080507.1651: The USS Grissom begins her maiden voyage at Midland Bug and Coin Tradin' Post (GC17CK4).

STARDATE 080608.0039: After traveling at Warp 5 for nearly a week, the Grissom has arrived in the Seattle System to explore new caches.

STARDATE 080814.1732: After narrowly escaping from the Rogue Klingon Bird of Prey, the Grissom is en route to the Iowa sector to chart gaseous anomalies.

STARDATE 080828.1536: After traveling at warp 5 for two weeks, the Grissom arrives in the Dubuque System of the Iowa Sector to continue our exploration of uncharted caches.

STARDATE 080906.1721: The Grissom has been ordered to explore geocache outside of Federation Space and has set course for the European Union to continue exploration.

STARDATE 080912.1124: After traveling at Warp 5 for six days, the Grissom has arrived in the German Sector of the European Union.
