    Shaw Valley Trail Smoker: After doing the loop nearby, I had some extra time so started down this trail. Enjoyed the shade and when I got to GZ I found it right where I thought it should be.

    Gratitude Series-Turkish: The log was wet but I was able to sign it. I liked this hiding spot. I think it is taster clever so am giving it a favorite point.

    I am grateful that today wasn’t as hot as recent days and I could be outside in nature to enjoy it.

    Gratitude Series: Russian: I am grateful for having a day of work today so that I could spend the morning caching. Had to pick something up in CV so ended up here. Found a shed snakeskin nearby. I’m also grateful that the owner was not.

    Mesa Top: Took the day off and went n a hike in Carmel Valley. At first I attempted another trail hut couldn’t figure out how to access it so I ended up here. Not too hot and beautiful views.

    Bone Site: After a STF and two DNF’s I had to redeem myself so I went for one more Cache. My Coords were a tad bit off but I used my geosenses and made the find pretty quick. Soon after I put everything back and was headed back to my car, I was thinking about revisiting those DNFs. I was looking at my phone and realized I passed one and was looking to see where I was in relation to the next DNF when a muggle couple walking by asked if I was lost. I told them I was getting a bunch of texts and that I was fine. The ended up stopping to chat with another muggle very near GZ so I kept going. Oh well. Maybe next time.

    Out and About: Missed a couple of turns on the twisty road and pulled up to the parking area to find PQ caching’s car and as I was getting, he strolled up from his successful FTF. I set out through the fog and made the grab in the second place I looked and added a penguin. Took the glass rock.

    Hear the Trail Calling, Harmon? Just placed a cache nearby and decided to go for this one. It was so hot today but this evening it cooled off enough to to hit the trail.
