One of our “Beetles Across America II”. We set 4 “Bugs” free, to see & do things in America. This is Herbie I...

Herbie is heading to Niagara Falls, NY/Canada, one of our favorite places to visit. He said he’d like to see the Canadian side as well as the American side. Take him to the Falls and be sure to log photos of Herbie enjoying some of the sights with you. Herbie wants to hang out at the Falls and rest in the close local caches between his adventures. If all goes well, he will enjoy a lot of fun caching and sightseeing with fellow cachers until we make it up for our next visit, then we can pick him up and bring him home! Be sure to log him when you find him! Take pictures with other VW Beetles too! Have fun and happy caching!

This is our second set of “Beetles Across America”, our original “Bugs” suffered an unfortunate fate, with only one making it home. The others are all AWOL/MIA. As with any bug you may find, please don’t leave our Herbies OUTSIDE caches that they do not fit in... don’t remove their tags, move them as you find them... take them only if you can help them toward their intended goal... and ALWAYS LOG YOUR FIND!!!

I happen to be going to PA next week, so will get this in the right direction to go home! (Unless you would like Herbie to go back to the Falls?)
Biy I wish my friend Greg still lived in NY! He was a true volkswagen afficianado! On his property (which was not big by any means) he housed 7 volkswagen bugs, and 2 additional older models in the process of being rebuilt. One of course was one of the newer ones. But one was an actual Herbie from the older disney movies! In fact, he and his wife got married in it-I told you he was a fan!
