  • George over the Potomac River At Scotts Run Park near Scotts Run Cache Revised. Looking at the river down river from Great Falls.
  • At the Cloud House in Maryland. George visiting an area of the Potomac River where he had tons of influence in it's development. This portion is part of the C & O canal.
  • The Cloud House George at the cloud house.
  • George at the C&O Canal. C&O Canal at Cloud House near DC.
  • Near Patriot Place Cache I thought George would enjoy a stay at this cache.

Taking George around northen VA to places he hasn't seen in years. Hope to get him tucked away in a nice cache soon. Meantime I thought I'd download some pics so you know he is happy and safe.

  • George on Vestal's Gap Road Here he is on a road he traveled frequently from Alexandria VA to the frontier of America in the 1700's, Western PA.
  • The halfway point on Vestal's Gap Road George halfway between Alexandria, VA and Charleston, WV. This portion of the "road" is located in Claude Moore Park in Sterling, VA.
  • Lanesville Home on Vestal's Gap Road Perhaps George slept here a time or two. Since it isn't noted on the plaque maybe he didn't. The house is old enough so who knows. It is at the halfway point and I figured that George wouldn't mind a few pics here.
  • Lanesville House The earliest portion of this house was built in 1779. Near the halfway point on Vestal's Gap Road.
  • At the front door of the Lanesville House Maybe he walked through these doors a "few" years ago.
  • Pond by Vestal's Gap Road and Lanesville House. George could have ate a few fish from here.
