We originally bought this truck from Cathy Rucker, the widow of Steven Rucker who was the only firefighter to die in the Southern California Firestorms of 2003. This was Steve's truck and the original license plate read - "RUC TRUCK".

Geojammer's Ride - "The Ruc Truck"!

Our Chevy Silverado truck is now a Travel Bug! Goodness knows it's been our main source of transportation to most of the geocaches we have found. We bought the Travel Bug decal at the GeoWoodstock VI Mega event. We had a great time at GW6 and camping with Geobrigade, sdarken, Kenneray and their families (Geo*Scout, ldarkens and geosmasher included) that whole weekend. We look forward to seeing the logs of all the Geocachers who discover us on the road! Please tell us where you were when you discovered us.

WE Came up to SF for 4 days and had to go up to the Bridge, Saus and Muir woods.... as we were going through Mill Valley, Missed the turn and ended up going 2 block further when as i passed the silverado, i noticed the bug.. I have one on my truck too.. had to do another uturn and drive by again to grab the number and log it.. thanks forthe bug.... -Zipman5150

So on the way home from work cruzing in the fastlane I spot a bug on this truck in the next lane and get behind to try and get the number I must be getting blind in my old age cause I had tailgate you from lane to lane and finaly off the freeway I'm sure you thought I was stalking but I got the code before I got back on the freeway.
