gone fishing 1.JPG

The original TB went missing years ago.  i am restarting it so dad can fish on.

My dad was a traveling salesman and loved to fish. I gave him this fisherman a long time ago. It is time to get him traveling and fishing again. PLEASE DO NOT PUT THIS TB IN PUZZLE CACHES OR MULTI'S THAT NO ONE CAN FIND!

Dad and I "Did Not Find" a good fishing spot at Killen's Pond so we decided he should staying another night with us and tomorrow he can go to work with me. Perhaps I will be able to get off early and He and I can look for a good fishing spot. The wife thinks Dad is cute. Guess I better keep an eye on them. 😉

Found Dad asleep and resting or maybe bored. He didn't say or complain, but he did say that after 6 weeks of fishing the St. Jones River he would like to have a good home cooked meal. I took him home and we had a wonderful conversation regarding his journey and experiences over a meal of home fried chicken, corn on the cob, green bean, sliced home grown tomatoes, corn bread, and iced tea. After dinner we watched Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune on the TV. We then went outside for a little gardening and to water the plants. As dark set in we went inside and enjoyed a few lines of bowling on the Wii. Then off to bed we went.

Upon arising in the morning Dad said he would like to do some lake fishing. I assured him that after breakfast I would take him to a near by lake.

What a wonderful tribute to your fishin' dad. My dad used to fish also. Didn't matter how or where, he just loved to fish. His favorite was trauling for bluefish in Long Island Sound, or salmon fishing in upstate NY. Go Dad!!!

This is a great TB. Picked him up at a breakfast event in SE Pennsylvania. Thanks
