Current Goal

This travel bug is on a mission...To visit the REAL Oktoberfest in Munich,Germany, The Hofbrau Haus, and to see the Rathaus Glockenspiel in action and then come back home to Houston, Texas. Take a picture with your "Big Beer" and the bug in a beer tent with your friends, The Hofbrau House is so much fun: this bug would love to see the band or the pretzel hut inside, don't forget a picture with the bug with someone in Lederhosen and lastly the music and action of the Glockenspiel is something to behold. Have fun! Make sure to learn the proper way to toast your beer - ask a local they would love to show you. PROST!!!

This bug is not shy and would love to have his picture taken in places along the journey in his quest for beer. Thank you for taking him with you...

About This Item

This is our first travel bug, and realize that we may not see him for a very long time. He is going to be wearing a "Go Rice Owls" navy blue bracelet, so he can support his school on the journey. Take care of Augustus (the bug).

    Got the travel bug from a great find. Seeing as it's mission is to travel to Germany for Oktoberfest I am including a picture of the bug with the official hat from Oktoberfest 2003. My wife got this for me while she was there on business during Oktoberfest.
