Hello! I'm Lil' Bopper - I'm one of a family of four zany travel bugs being released coast to coast;Chowda da Lobsta, Thomas the Steam Engine and T-for-2. Our family is competing in a contest to see which travel bug can reach 50,000 points first and win the grand prize.

We need your help to score points and win! Please help Lil' Bopper log as many miles as possible and, if you have the time, also help our bug score points by taking his picture in various locations. See the attached rules and points.

This is an extremely competative family so please hustle Lil' Bopper along. The first TB to reach 50,000 miles/points wins(however, if no one makes it, it all ends January 1st, 2004).

HOW TO WIN

There are several ways that you can score points:

  • 1 point for each mile traveled between caches.

  • 500 points for each picture uploaded of Lil' Bopper and you, the geocacher who finds him.

  • 750 points for a picture with Lil' Bopper in a unique or absurd form of transportation.

  • 1000 points for each picture uploaded of Lil' Bopper in a place that has any of these names visible in the picture: Bruce, Midge, Joel, Lisa, Noah, Elijah, Katrina, Matthew, Abigail, Logan, Danika, Reagan or Whitney.

  • 2000 points for each picture of Lil' Bopper playing the board game "Settlers of Catan."

  • 2500 points if Lil' Bopper sleeps over at any of the other three fellow travel bugs caches. These are "Boston Proper" in Boston, MA, "Cache as Cache Can" in Iowa City, IA and "Planezz, Tranezz and Automobilezz" in Salt Lake City, UT.
