Go hunt for the Dinosaur cousins
The Tuatara lives only in New Zealand on a few remote offshore islands.
Its lineage dates back 225 million years and it is a true survivor from the Dinosaur age.
It has teeth and powerful jaws and feeds on insects, snails, lizards and even small sea birds.
The name 'Tuatara' comes from the Maori language and means Spiney-back.
