Current Goal

The Skiing Reindeer’s new objective is to travel to the “Logos Cache” in Omaha, NE. It's original objective (see below) could no longer be met. I wouldn't mind seeing the reindeer spend some quality time on the east coast before heading to the Midwest.

About This Item

I'm a middle aged reindeer who loves the snow as well as both downhill and cross country skiing. I would love to ski the cornfields of Nebraska, or the mountains of Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Montana, Canada, Washington, Oregon, Calfornia, Vermont, N.H., and/or any other place that has good powder. My original plan was to travel to the "East Meets West at Vasquez Rocks" cache by the spring of 2003. Since then the cache owner, Dannomite, has had to archive that cache since he has moved to Nebraska. Therefore the objective has been changed; I now want to return to Nebraska, specifically to the "Logos Cache."

The Reindeer and I had a great time at this event. 😛 Had a nice time chatting with all the regulars. Oh, and a public apology to Lil Devil. I was on the road and logged the bug via my phone so that I wouldn't lost the tracking number after I placed it. It was not meant as a slight to anyone/anything to log the travel bug - please do not take it as such. Remember, this HOBBY is supposed to be FUN! 😁 Cheers all. This way it will show the correct mileage to and from the event. In the future when you grab bugs at events, it's customary and considerate to give the previous holder a couple of days or so to make the drop before grabbing it.
