Current Goal

The Skiing Reindeer’s new objective is to travel to the “Logos Cache” in Omaha, NE. It's original objective (see below) could no longer be met. I wouldn't mind seeing the reindeer spend some quality time on the east coast before heading to the Midwest.

About This Item

I'm a middle aged reindeer who loves the snow as well as both downhill and cross country skiing. I would love to ski the cornfields of Nebraska, or the mountains of Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Montana, Canada, Washington, Oregon, Calfornia, Vermont, N.H., and/or any other place that has good powder. My original plan was to travel to the "East Meets West at Vasquez Rocks" cache by the spring of 2003. Since then the cache owner, Dannomite, has had to archive that cache since he has moved to Nebraska. Therefore the objective has been changed; I now want to return to Nebraska, specifically to the "Logos Cache."

Okay, I'm almost done with this little guy - but after our big trip to Whistler, I couldn't resist another trip up to Tahoe now that there's finally some snow. We had a great day at Kirkwood, and a TON of fun finding and logging this cache. Photos to follow...

I know I've held on to the Skiing Reindeer for a long time: but it's finally time for some skiing before releasing him back towards Valencia (assuming that's still his goal).
