Current Goal

The Skiing Reindeer’s new objective is to travel to the “Logos Cache” in Omaha, NE. It's original objective (see below) could no longer be met. I wouldn't mind seeing the reindeer spend some quality time on the east coast before heading to the Midwest.

About This Item

I'm a middle aged reindeer who loves the snow as well as both downhill and cross country skiing. I would love to ski the cornfields of Nebraska, or the mountains of Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Montana, Canada, Washington, Oregon, Calfornia, Vermont, N.H., and/or any other place that has good powder. My original plan was to travel to the "East Meets West at Vasquez Rocks" cache by the spring of 2003. Since then the cache owner, Dannomite, has had to archive that cache since he has moved to Nebraska. Therefore the objective has been changed; I now want to return to Nebraska, specifically to the "Logos Cache."

I couldn't resist the lure of this fellow snow enthusiast, so I grabbed him at the recent event. Alas, I don't think I should hold on to him until snowfall, at which point I could show him a GRAND time on the slopes on Squaw Valley and other Lake Tahoe resorts. This knuckle-dragger can even overlook the fact that he's a two-planker... 😁

This little guy is quite the skiier. He tried to ski with the pirates, but the water was too choppy. So they mounted his skis to the ship so he could stand tall and feel the air rushing by him (see photo). Then they took pitty on the little guy and set sail for cooler waters where they at last found him a big chunk of ice to slip around on. They hated to see him go, but knew he had bigger hills to ski.

I was really hoping to get this little guy down to the LA area, but my plans to go there have been delayed. I did get him near the "slopes" though. Hope he's happy.
