Bob the GeoTurtle has started his travels in Indiana. Being an aquatic creature, he is looking for big water. He really has not decided which of these waters he wants to spend time at. So he wants to travel coast to coast and check out all the big waters around. Help him on his way.

    Bob has been exploring parts of New Orleans with us this week. We revisited bodies of water he found so he could have photos to take with him. He will be relocated to another cache within the next couple of days.

    • Sitting on the Dock of the Lake Bob visited the West End area of New Orleans to check out the night fishing. No fish were biting, but the night life close by at Joe's was kickin'!
    • Got Crabs? Bob liked the crabs and coconut shrimp at Joe's. He almost got on the bar and danced with the waitresses!
    • What a Beautiful Day! Bob found a friend on the shores of Lake Ponchatrain!
    • Ahhhh! Water and Culture Bob takes time out from a busy schedule and checks out the sculpture pool and art exhibits at NOMA!
    • FORE! Bob took in a round of golf so he could check out the lagoons. We played best ball and shot 2 under!
    • Water on Mars?!!! We took in a night of planet gazing. We found Jupiter with 4 moons, Venus, Mercury, and Saturn. Jupiter's bands and red spot were visible as was Saturn's rings. Bob found Mars and hoped to see water!

    Sorry I had this guy so long. He is now 8.4 billion miles from the sun, and turtles don't move so fast..Please get this guy moving quickly..he has a lot of places to see.

    Im Sorry that this is out of order, but I have just returnded from Ohio, where I left Bob at the Sunny Lake Park Cache. It sure cost an awful lot to get that extra seat for him between Denver and Cleveland on short notice. He was left fairly close to the lake so I thought he'd be happy there.
