About This Item

This is an Illinois motorcycle license plate that spent several years on my 1970 R75 /5 motorcycle. Unfortunately, the bike is no longer in service but hopefully the plate can continue the journeys.

I have included a Sharpie® pen with the bug for you to sign the plate. Please feel free to sign on the front or back and try to leave room for others who find the bug after you.

Now that this travel bug is back in our hands after over 19,000 miles of travel, we'll be retiring it. Thanks to all who have moved it along and a special thanks to SONOTECH for his efforts in getting back from Europe and then to us. It has now completed the circle after a brief visit at our cache where we started its travels.

This TB retrieved from a beautiful park near Needham Market, UK. A river and lake provide a nice setting for walks and feeding the ducks and swans.

I will be bringing this TB back to Florida and place in a TB Hotel near Daytona Beach Speedway. Hopefully it will make its way back to Illinois and its owner, its been away for over 3 years.
