Current Goal

Travel to many places that have the letter Y in their name. This bug should try to make its way back to Pennsylvania at some point, but there's certainly no hurry. Why the name and goal? Because Bryan (note the Y ;-)) has this thing about the letter Y, most likely because it is so versitile.

About This Item

Something with a Y

The ornament attached to this bug was given to me by a very special woman named Debbie (no Y, but she's working on it :-)) and we're setting it loose on our first trip away together. I am a coaster nut and Kennywood is an amusement park near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA where we live. Coast N Bug is my other bug which is riding the coasters of the world, so I figured that this bug should have a different goal.

  • Runnymede Took it for a trip to see where The Magna Carta was signed.
  • 2 for the price of 1 Sign at the beginning of the village of Wraysbury near Heathrow.
  • Syon House Syon House is a stately home in Isleworth on the outskirts of London. You could almost count a double find for this one as well as Isleworth was originally called Ysleworth.
  • Weybridge Sign for Weybridge, a place unsurprisingly named after the bridge that goes over the River Wey, right underneath this sign.
  • Byfleet Byfleet in Surrey, next to Brooklands, the once home of British Motor Racing.
