Help the lovebug find Bob.Below is the original description for the travel bug. Unfortunately after repeated emails to geocacher Chance with no reply we have to now assume Bob is lost. We are now sending out the Lovebug wearing a copy of Bob's dogtag to see if it can find Bob. Thanks also to AJogger for the LoveBug
"Bob, the travel bug, is named after our neighbours dog, who unfortunately has gone to that great doggie heaven in the sky.Bob really liked to swim. He would go for minimum 3 hour swims in the ocean out in front of our place. The seals would play hide'n'seek with him. When we would go out in our boat, he would come out to see if we had caught anything. As a tribute to Bob, we would like to have this travel bug see the ocean (whether it be the Atlantic, the Pacific, the Indian, etc)from all the possible vantage points.Have fun Bob!"

The travel bug has safely made it back from Africa. He visited 13 countries over three months (South Africa, Botswana, Swaziland, Lesotho, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi, the Congo and Rwanda)
We are attempting to help Love Bug find Bob, starting with caches in Southern Alberta. He was cheered immensely with an impromptu trip to Writing on Stone Provincial Park, where he scaled some wonderful HooDoos and admired the view of the Sweetgrass Hills (we have pictures). Love Bug agreed that if there is no sign of Bob by April he will accompany a good friend of ours to Africa, starting in Capetown, to see if Bob has neared the Ocean there. He'll be back, hopefully with Bob, in July. From there he will continue his cross canada search if Bob is still missing. We will keep taking pictures and send them with him as momentos.
Will move the bug farther east in a week or so.
Will move the bug along as soon as we can.
He just wouldn't squeeze into that micro, he seemed to enjoy the day anyway.
