About This Item

Adam's Christmas Penguin

Adam (aged 5 at the time) owns this Penguin and set it free at our A Slice of Christmas Pie Cache in December 2003.

Having spent a while in the penguin pool at Marwell Zoo, near Winchester, UK, he started to get homesick so Adam rescued him to enable him to start the trek home.

We hope you can help, go on p...p...pick up a penguin!

Left Penguin here. At 6850ft I went past snow on the way up to the cache. There's plenty of snow around this area even at this time of year. Maybe he will go somewhere snowier. Not so much fish here though (about 1000miles from the sea!)

Took him to Windermere and was going to leave penguin on an island where there would be plenty of fish, and potentially snow too, but everywhere was flooded and I couldn't get a boat!
Don't worry Adam I have a another (even better) plan for March, if penguin doesn't get too hot waiting that long.

Left the Penguin in the Berkshire Travel Bug hotel with a view to him moving to cooler climes. This cache is only a couple of weeks old, and the number of visitors to date makes it look like it won't take long for the TB to move on.
