This travel bug is a nod to my Mother and her second love, Hal, who could not join us on our August, 2020 houseboat trip on lake Powell. We had planned the family trip a year in advance, pre-covid, but they could not particiapte after Hal got sick in the summer of 2020. The issues were non-covid related and he passed in September that year.
We want the travel bug to leave Venice, FL and meander it's way to the Lake Powell area in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. After logging in to that area we would like it to travel back to Freedom, NH. Please feel free to leave pictures and stories in the travel bug log.
This is an old dog tag style travel bug that we never deployed and just recently found again. We decided to deploy it in Venice while visiting my mother and taking her back to New England.
