This coin celebrate the men and women who have volunteered to serve their country as members of the Canadian Forces, Regular and Reserve Force members who share the same duties but discharge different responsibilities. In doing so, some will if necessary, put their lives at risk for the security of Canadians and in some cases, other nations. To ensure the integrity of the names on these coins, we ask that you verify that you are a serving or retired Canadian Forces member who has graduated from a Canadian Forces basic training course, Basic Officer Training course, or equivalent.
