Flit from cache to cache across forest and seas.
Scooby has a bit those wanderlust feelings, yearning to seek what is beyond the horizon he's grabbed ahold of a travelbug tag and looks to the far horizon for adventure.

Scooby has had a great time with us these past few weeks. He has got to
see the six puppies we have grow and really hated to move on. He did good. I
do not have any pictures of him in the Navy since I didn't find a digital
camera. But he did fly out to Mt. Grant by Hawthrone as well as Sherman peak
and Paradice peak out by Gabbs. He has now become an Honorary Naval Aircrewman in the HH-60H and he now has his Mountain flying qual and will
tell you that he really does understand what the word cold means. He also
got his Fam 1 completed on a daytime Combat Rescue Mission. He is very well
adapted to helicopter flying. You should see him with his tongue flapping in
the 140 Kt. breaze while hanging on to an M-240 machine gun. He can go into
combat with me any time! But alas, all good things must come to an end. He
decided to stay out at the old dog track for awhile. It would appear that
some of the old racers have come back to run the track all over again, and
well, you know that Scooby has the ghost hunting thing in his blood (though
he will admit to being terrified of them) he had to stay and snoop around
for a bit. Take care Buddy! Boog

I have Scooby and will take him out for an aerial tour of the Nevada landscape. Hopefully I can get a didgital cam shot of him in my helo and maybe even shooting the GAU-16 .50 cal machine gun. He says he is much more content being out in the open and military life may be a good change for him. He has had his first good meal in awhile consisting of chicken and gravy with peas. He really enjoyed the apple crisp aterwards. He was welcomed in to the family of two dogs and six puppies. Boog

Scooby is back in the mid-west for a while.
Travel is what he wants. The Keys is not what it is cooked up to be.

Well Scooby told us he was headed for the Caribbean and we were headed to the Florida Keys, so we took him along. He was good company although unusually quiet. He stopped by the Southernmost Point in the continental USA before climbing into the No Name Key cache. He'll be kept company here by the Key Deer that roam throughout the area. And hopefully he'll be on his way to other parts of the Caribbean soon!
Vaya con Dios Scooby!
