Lee Alec Cook was just 14 years old when his life was cut short. He lived it to the full and enjoyed motor sports and music. Help Lee live on with a journey around the country and the world. This TB will be set off close to where Lee rests. I'm sure that he will be watching to see where he can go.
Born in 1992, Lee Alec Cook was the first child of Shaun & Carol Cook. Tragically taken from us on 21 January 2007 aged just 14 years old, Lee lived a full and exciting life achieving a great love for many things. ---
Passionate about Football. Lee supported Leeds United (as it was nearly his name and their blue and yellow halved away strip from the late 1990's was his favourite colours). He only got to see them play once in a 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa at Villa Park and the tears he shed when Villa scored only re-enforced the love he had for the club. ---
Passionate about Formula One. By the age of seven years old he was banished to his room to watch F1 on his own as the over excitement and commentary on the sport was disrupting are enjoyment of the TV coverage. His first hero was Damon Hill and we were lucky enough to go to the Friday practice sessions at Silverstone to see his hero in action. when Damon retired and Jenson Button started his F1 career, Lee then had a new hero. We are so disappointed that Lee isn't here to enjoy Jensons current success. We also went to Silverstone for the British Touring Car round and to Cheltenham for the British Leg of the World Rally Championship. ---
Passionate about music. From an early age our influence in rock music was soon adopted by Lee and he became fascinated in all walks of Rock Music. From Iron Maiden to Dream Theatre and Symphony X Lee really got into the music and soon started to play the drums. he would often make a "Guest" appearance at my bands gigs (Spoylydge & Lonesome Crow) where he would play the drums like a professional. He also played the drums for The Local Armature Dramatic Society, the Stanley Players featuring in several annual pantomimes. ---
Along with his weekly paper round, where he made many friends with all ages, his love of food (pizza and curry - not at the same time) Coca Cola, video games (especially F1 & Football games), movies - The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Harry Potter, Star Wars and his love of BBC's Top Gear, we cannot turn any corner of our lives without the stark reminder that he is no longer with us and we all miss him so much. -----
A beautiful kind hearted little boy who was my life. ----------------- Shaun (Lee's Dad)
