About This Item

Antarctica & Beyond

We tucked this away with one of our teachers who is on her way to Antarctica to work with a research team in the Dry Valleys. This was part of the TEA (Teachers Experiencing the Antarctic and Arctic) Program. We are hoping it can be released down (or up, it's all relative) there. We will be tracking its progress at our school. Please describe the environment you find it in when you log in. Thanks!

We plucked this out a cache on a lovely stretch of a shaded public path. There were views across the farmlands and some fields bright yellow with crops of oil rape. In the field to the other side, some sheep were out grazing today.

Checking Antarctica through this snowy cache. He is caching in Wisconsin with us this Christmas and will then return to the UK with us.
