Chester's goal is to travel to have his picture taken at the Space Needle in Seattle. (Hopefully by The Legendary Skymapper - He from West of the Cascades.) After that, he longs to return to his home in Wisconsin - either the Milwaukee area, or the Crivitz area.
Chester Cheesehead looks like a tasty morsel, but don't be fooled. You can see by the way he's decked out in the colors of the Green Bay Packers that he's one tough cookie. Oops, I mean curd. (Notice how he carries the football safely tucked under his arm.) His ultimate goal is to visit the Legendary Skymapper - he from West of the Cascades and then travel back to his home base. Won't you please help him with his wish?

I rescued Chester Cheesehead from the Communiversity Park Cache. The poor guy has traveled many, many miles since he started his adventures. During that time he was lost for several months. But now, he's finally home where he can have a long rest. Perhaps someday he will venture forth again. We'll see.

Chester and I started out this morning a little after 9 and scooter-cached our way across Hwy 70. We made several stops and ended up at his new temporary residence at GCW8YY near the intersection of Hwy 8 and Hwy 51. We're hoping this is a good spot for someone to take him home from. He's got some new instructions on his dogtag so hopefully he won't end up in Arizona or something. I appreciate being a small part of his journey. Thanks!!

I just wanted to let you know I have not forgotten that I have Chester Cheesehead. I was hoping to get a trip over to Crivitz in and dropping him there but it looks like that's not going to happen soon. I'd like to get him at least as far as the Tomahawk area and will likely be able to do that in the next few days (weather permitting)if that's OK. If not I can drop him into a cache near Ladysmith sooner. I'll plan on Tomahawk unless I hear otherwise from you. Thanks, BadPaul

I was looking for a traveling companion on the ride back home so grabbed Chester Cheesehead. He was up for it, as you can see from the photos. He's been on quite a journey and is nearing home again. If I can't get him any closer myself I'll drop him in a cache near home (Ladysmith) soon.
