Iggy-Lou would love to go somewhere really cold as she finds our climate a bit too warm! She would like to head north, but as long as she keeps moving she’ll be happy!

Iggy-Lou visited the cache Essington
Following a recent caching trip to Wollongong I planned a return today to amend the sad faces of some unfound caches and complete Nighteez's series on the Blast Furnaces. A very late start today left us with only half a dozen finds on another nice afternoon out.
Essington is one of the Blast Furnace caches that I found last year but it was missing a photo which is needed for coordinates for another cache in the series. Another cacher took care of this little issue so I returned today to obtain the information required.

Following a recent caching trip to Wollongong I planned a return today to amend the sad faces of some unfound caches and complete a series on the Blast Furnaces. A very late start today left us with only half a dozen finds on another nice afternoon out. First stop today was Wollongong University where we parked at the back of the carpark and meandered our way down behind the various sporting venues to this cache in the bush land. There were lots of muggles out today spectating and playing football but they were of no hinderance to us. Moving our way though the trees and jumping across a little creek it didn't take too long before we had this cache in hand. This was a good little Multi cache relating to the security telephones.

Visited 6/18/2017 Throsbyonchurch took it to Tallong Railway Station New South Wales, Australia - 4.46 miles  Visit Log

Iggy Lou visited the cache Tallong Railway Station
A new cache released in a tiny village with a few houses. This location is mainly bush and farm land; very much a rural area. The population is about 720. With a little shop which supplies milk and bread, a rural fire station and a school which caters for the local and farm residing children. There are probably about 30 children in the school. A tiny little railway station is the location for a nano cache hidden at the bus shelter outside the railway station. We were fortunate enough to see a freight train pass through when we stopped for this cache.

Iggy Lou visited the cache Unnamed Geocache
A new cache released in a tiny village with more than a dozen houses. The population is about 400. This little community is growing fast with a few new houses built in the last couple of years. This location is mainly bush and farm land; very much a rural area. A little shop which supplies not only milk and bread but many other things. The locals support this shop by going there for dinner and a chit chat one night a week. The village also has a rural fire station, a little railway station and a school which caters for the local and farm residing children. There are probably about 30 children in the school. This cache is hidden in the local park. When we arrived a couple of the locals were there resting their horses after a ride.

Iggy Lou visited the cache Tip Rocks
I have passed here many times since I started geocaching, stopped twice, but never ventured to find the cache. I developed some preconceived ideas about this cache and put off going to find it. Today was another story and the day to head in to GZ. All my preconceived ideas were thrown out the window upon making the effort to go and make the find. This cache was a lot of fun and very easy to access. And there was a nice little bush view. A short walk from the car into the bush along a nice wide track and then head up a hill to an area with lots of rocks where a cache was hidden in the crevice in these rocks. This was in fact one of my favourite hides.

Iggy Lou visited the cache Where am I – Illawarra
This is a Mystery Cache I had partially solved about 12 months ago and located in the coastal city of Wollongong. This cache was a little cryptic. You are required to read the clues and work out where waypoint one is located. I had completed that part of the mystery and today I went to the waypoint to collect more information, being a number on an electricity box. A little mathematics and you then had to coordinates for GZ, of which is a little walk down a dirt track and into the woodland.
