Current Goal

Iggy-Lou would love to go somewhere really cold as she finds our climate a bit too warm! She would like to head north, but as long as she keeps moving she’ll be happy!

Iggy Lou visited the cache The Old St Thomas Chapel and Church Hall
A simple park and grab that tricks many cachers. Hidden behind the capping and dangling off two magnets attached to a metal fence is this bison tube cache. Once on the correct side of the fence the cache is in hand.

Iggy Lou visited the cache A song by Kim Wilde
Located on the bridge a few metres from the Canada event was this bison tube cache hidden inside the bridge and attached to string. A clever little hide with ducks and muggles nearby and a lovely view down the river.

Iggy Lou visited the event Happy 150th Birthday Canada!
It was Geocaching event day in Australia, and Canada was the focus. We arrived at this event in good time. It was approximately a 45 minute drive north. A very small gathering of new faces. It was great to be able to add a face to the couple of names we knew. Hot potato chips mixed with gravy and cheese curd, fried maple coated bacon, maple pecan slice and maple flavoured cup cakes were available in celebration for Canada. Another water location with a river just a few metres away.

Iggy Lou visited the event The Great White North
It was Geocaching event day in Australia, and Canada was the focus. After a late start we arrived at this event at the closing hour and many cachers were still in attendance. We called in for a chat and then made our way north to another event and to find some caches. This event was held by the local lake, a very nice location.

Iggy-Lou visited the cache On the Rocks
When I was at this location some time back I didn't relise there was another cache here. It has taken me over a year to return. It was far too late in the day to consider travelling too far so we went off on a short trip and picked up this one.

Iggy-Lou visited the cache Step back in time...
The third attempt at finding a Mystery Cache located in a park that touches on the history of Albion Park. Quite a sneaky little hide, but easy when you use your hunch on where to look. A beautiful warm winters day under some glorious sunshine.

Visited 6/24/2017 Throsbyonchurch took it to Mmmm beer... New South Wales, Australia - 1.57 miles  Visit Log

Iggy-Lou visited the cache Mmmm beer...
My second attempt at locating Mmmm beer... but still I am at a loss as to where it could be hidden. Being a Mystery Cache I think I am going to have to return to the drawing board and see if I made an error.

Iggy-Lou visited the cache Jerry
Another cache in the series of six caches commemorating the Port Kembla Blast Furnaces. The cache locations are where six historical blast furnaces operated. The furnaces are known by the name of the person who first lit them. I cannot say these locations were the most delightful places to visit, but from a historical point, they were indeed interesting, although today nothing remains of these furnaces.

Visited 6/24/2017 Throsbyonchurch took it to Lady McLennan New South Wales, Australia - .94 miles  Visit Log

Iggy-Lou visited the cache Lady McLennan
Following a recent caching trip to Wollongong I planned a return today to amend the sad faces of some unfound caches and complete a series on the Blast Furnaces. Lady McLennan is one of the Blast Furnace caches. A Mystery Cache in which coordinates are obtained from completing other puzzles in the series and then visiting the caches in question to find information toward a couple of other caches in this series. Arrived here and ended up preoccupied as we got more than we bargained for so went on to find the cache and then make an unexpected detour to another location on our way to the next cache in this series.

Iggy-Lou visited the cache Emily
Following a recent caching trip to Wollongong I planned a return today to amend the sad faces of some unfound caches and complete Nighteez's series on the Blast Furnaces. Emily is one of the Blast Furnace caches that I found today quite a distance from all the others. A nice easy find although I wasn't confident in my calculations for GZ, but they paid off.
