Flat Mary, used to be Flat Stanley, would love to travel. This 3rd edition, released June 2021, is smaller than her predecessor and will fit in a lot more places. Events would also be fun.
New: In this 3rd incarnation of Flat Stanley, Flat Mary is visiting Mt. Rainier in Washington state. It was such a pretty picture that I had to make it the picture of the trackable. Flat Mary would like to travel, and can fit into many more places than she did previously. Events would also be fun!

Historical:
In the children's book, Flat Stanley, by Jeff Brown, Stanley is squashed flat by a falling bulletin board. One of the many advantages of being flat is that Flat Stanley can now visit his friends by travelling in an envelope. (This Flat Stanley is choosing to visit via geocaching instead.) The Flat Stanley project is a group of teachers who want to provide their students with a reason to write others. Even though this was released by a teacher instead of students, I am still looking forward to seeing where Stanley has travelled and reading the logs! For more information on the Flat Stanley project, visit http://www.flatstanley.com.
My original Flat Stanley disappeared in a California cache back in 2009. I've decided to resurrect him in a new "body" after doing a project with the children who I now work with. Introducting Flat Mary, my recreation of (well, sort of anyway) what I looked like on July 17, 2013. SHE would like to travel the country, much as Flat Stanley did. She is bigger than Flat Stanley and wouldn't mind being gently curved to fit into an ammo can or other container. Sharp folds would not feel good! She would definitely not fit into any cache less than a regular sized one. Events would be good as well.
