We found this TB in the "San Diego Santa" cache, which is appropriate for many reasons:
(1) Santa can fly you ANYWHERE.
(2) The cache is located just outside the San Diego Air & Space Museum, which is chock full of rocket ships, including an actual GPS satellite (one of the extra ones they didn't actually launch). If you have ever flown in a commercial airliner into San Diego, you have probably been within about five inches of this museum, which is directly below the one-and-only flight path into Lindbergh Field.
(3) Also in Balboa Park -- the most beautiful urban park in the USA, and I know I must include Central Park in Manhattan and Prospect Park in Brooklyn among the list -- is the Fleet Science Center, where there was today a mock-up of the next generation of Mars Rover (with which we took a photo of the TB).
So -- please be patient until we upload the photos -- here is the TB's visit to some of San Diego's space sites!
Next, we hope to put it into a cache from which somebody might take it up to Pasadena so it can visit the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, before moving on to its goals farther east!
