75 years of Cub Scout Coin

Scouting has always been a major part of my life. Since being introduced to scouting in second grade, I have never left.

This year marked my 29th year in Scouting. What makes it even more special is this is my oldest son's first year in Cub Scouting.

Here are some of my Scouting high lights:

4 years as a Cub Scout

7 years as a Boy Scout

19 years as a Boy Scout Leader (earn Eagle Scout Rank)

1 year as my son's Tiger Den Leader.

My brother was a cub scout in the 70s. They made little wooden cars for races down ramps. It was great fun, especially when my Dad added a little graphite to the car to get it to go faster. The "Graphite Special" worked until the judges got wise, then we were busted!
