(Original mission - February 17, 2002: I would like for this bug to search the world for the end of the trail.)

New mission - July 8, 2007: This bug would like to return to its owner for a well deserved rest by getting to "My Island Travel Bug Resort" (GCE639 - N 36° 44.754 W 095° 56.269) in Bartlesville, Oklahoma (just North of Tulsa, Oklahoma).

About This Item

End of the Trail Bug

The bug is a very small version of the "End of the Trail" statue at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA. I actually purchased the bug in Lajitas, Texas, USA, near Big Bend National Park in 2000. I released the bug in my Copan Lake View cache near Copan, Oklahoma, USA.

End of the Trail TB is now close to the Trans Canada Highway...perhaps in a better position for going south. I changed the printed description with it so that it now lists the new goal. Also, two of the horse's legs are broken so I added a "Fragile" label. Good luck on the trip home. I will add a picture when I get it out of the camera.

Poor guy has been searching far and wide and for a long time! But unfortunately the end of the trail is not here in Calgary either. In a couple of weeks, I will take him somewhere else to continue his search.
