Germany´s oldest chocolate factory is located in Halle (Saale). Here are manufactured since 1804 fine chocolates. Since 1952 is the work „Halloren“. Known is he „Halloren ball“ from a chocolate cream and cocoa cream. It takes ist name from the valley of the Saale previously established brotherhood of saltworkes – the Halloren. The shape of the chocolate to commemorate the silver buttons on their jackets. Today this chocolate is well-known brands of Halle (Saale).
