Hallo liebe Geocacher,

dies ist ein Travel Bug Dog Tag mit einem Gänselieselanhänger aus Göttingen, Deutschland. Das Gänseliesel ist eine kleine Statur auf dem Brunnen auf dem Göttinger Marktplatz und das Wahrzeichen der Stadt. Es gibt die Tradition, dass frischgebackene Doktoren/Doktorinnen das Liesel nach Erhalt ihrer Urkunde küssen und mit Blumen schmücken.

Der TB ist ein Geschenk von phantomas2006 und rabilieh. Ich werde ihn auf den Färöern aussetzen und um die Welt schicken. Nach drei Jahren soll der TB wieder zurück in Göttingen, Niedersachsen, sein.

Hello dear Geocachers,

this is a travel bug dog tag with a Gänseliesel from Göttingen, Germany. The Gänselieselstatue on the marketplace´s font is the town´s landmark and there is a tradition that newly ph.d-graduates from Göttingen kiss the Liesel and give her flowers after they get their diplomas.

The TB is a present from phantomas2006 and rabilieh. I will dismiss the TB on the Faroe Islands in August 2011 and wish, that you are taking Travel Bug Göttingen with you to the next geocache around the world and then after 3 years, please, back to Göttingen, Lower Saxony, Germany.
