No matter how far away hope may seem, it is always with us. This coin is especially for those who feel that hope is distant.
The Sea of Nectar edition uses a technique new to geocoins. Instead of being copper plated, the coin is solid copper with gold highlights. This is for true copper aficionados who want their coins to age well. Metal platings will come off over time, but solid copper will develop a characteristic copper patina that is regarded as desirable in the art world. The shiny gold highlights are 18-24 carat in purity. This metal was chosen especially for its longevity and durable beauty.
The Sea of Nectar edition was named after one of the features found on the moon: Mare Nectaris. Of all the lunar seas, only the Sea of Nectar could capture the fire and royalty embodied in copper and gold.
