First time since this stash was published (our youngest cache) we came to check up on it. Laura did a quick OM run and was delighted to find the cache in great condition. All is great here and we’re so happy for the nice logs we keep reading!

This stash popped up on the map around the same time that three other Czech language listings. Very very impossible for Tommy to solve. However, with Laura by my side and a family who could help, we tasked the Czech speakers from Malaysia, and had them do their best. While it did take a few days of back-and-forths, eventually the parental units got quite close. Not close enough to get the checker to agree however, and the final push was done with the help of something created by Sam Altman. Though once the checker agreed with the coords, the stash happily stayed as a puzzle piece on the map and awaited until now.
I parked the car a close as I could, very conveniently, and first Laura ran to GZ. After we saw her struggling a bit, I joined her for the search. We weren’t too successful and continued looking around; but the very obvious hide wasn’t seen. I had to jump down and walk around from a different angle to look around, and (in hindsight) the very obvious hide was quickly uncovered. I have to admit not only that this is a smart hide, but that it somehow eluded us for a while! I realize that such a simple cache is actually very original, and before even signing the logbook, I knew that this would be one to drop a 💙FP at. I did so and was happy this TB could accompany us to this find in Vinohrady. After logging our final find of the day, we returned everything up as we found it, before returning to the car and heading to the nearby church and markets. Laura saw the tree she wanted to, we went to view the church, we walked around the markets, and we had an unexpected late lunch at a not-too-far-away Turkish restaurant which was open on Christmas Eve. In the end, this was a nice way to end our trip into town! Now let’s head home for a great home cooked meal and some family time!

As we drove on to the market/tree, we continued driving down Vinohradska and after the brewery, we came across a nice big tower ahead of us, with another very convenient parking spot just 15 feet from GZ. I took that spot and ran to the location, checked the hint and knew that height wouldn’t be an issue. I grabbed the stash and brought it back to the car, so that we could log it together. Under the watchful eyes of both ladies, I stamped our nick into the logbook and was happy this TB accompanied us for our third out of four finds on Christmas eve.

As we drove on to the market/tree, we passed through this location and with four AdLabs and one traditional, it seemed like an ideal stop, especially since I saw the vacant parking space just opposite the brewery. I hopped out the car and ran across the road and found the prefab quite quickly, and inked our nick into the logbook making this our 8302nd overall find, and today’s second of four finds. I snapped a photo and we returned everything up as we found it, and took a moment to unlock all of the AdLabs, and also snap a photo with out nick with the brewery for Seedcorp’s insane beer virtual cache.

Today the three of us headed into the city in the afternoon to make a family visit, and after a half hour drive we made it to Babula. Cleaned up a bit and left a chicken and nice winter themed flower, we had half of our mission done. I also had my eyes peeled on an cache attribute which we needed to complete the 22nd of December in this years GeoAdvent calendar, and Laura wanted to see a Christmas tree and/or market somewhere in the city. And so we drove towards Prague 2, but right after getting back in the car, we headed to this stash. My field notes say that I had solved this cache from home on August 25th, 2021; back when that was still possible. Luckily for me, this cache which had the needed attribute was still here in the same place, and we could quickly stop nearby, making this a great quick park & grab. Laura hopped out the car and we both had to giggle at the hint and actual placement - smart hint. Laura brought the stash to the car and stamped our nick in, although a little out of practice the first time. A second stamp went in and solidified our find. Glad this TB came out with us to this cold cold cold day!

A really busy, productive, interesting day today. Laura and I had quite a few tasks, as we usually do, when we visit the country. We were able to have a relatively calm morning but a busy afternoon. After getting our morning tasks done, dome spilt over into the afternoon, but our important checklist was done. That’s what counts. Laura had an appointment in Karlin and I dropped her off, after which it was time to head home before the last shopping errand of the day. As I was driving home, I had one of my lists open; a GPX list of listings I had downloaded without any of the additional information, and so when I drove past this area, I was kinda going blind. This stash was published between us leaving in the summer and coming back in the winter, and that’s pretty much all I knew. I decided I would take the opportunity to stop by and quickly visit, as it seemed like a nice and easy opportunity for extending our streak. As I was driving through the tunnel I did look at the opening time after seeing that the stash was within the premise; luckily it seemed open today on a Sunday. I made a (probably illegal) turn and parked so conveniently right outside, and from there walked to GZ of the stash. I somewhat remember, that this tower was being reconstructed for a longer time. I might’ve visited this place a decade and half ago, but do vividly remember the reconstructions and the fact that it was closed off for some time. Once I walked around and saw the area, firstly the smell from the food truck hit me very pleasantly, and then I looked around and saw the very nice and renovated facade of the tower. Nice and nice; looks better up-close than from the road. Walking to GZ, there was no issue spotting the stash; without a hint this was obvious. I took the lock & lock out if its hiding spot and noted that it’s all in excellent condition, including the logbook. I inked our nick into it, snapped a photo, and was happy to have visited another place on the globe. I again noted another few oddities; a pair of shoes and a plant which was on the wall of this premises. From here, I got back to the car and headed on to the next errand. I’m glad that you accompanied me; and keep us company while we travel. TBs like you make this game fun.

Here and there, every 15 or so minutes I took a break from the highway to make a stop. A park & gray, a nice little break. It’s dark and the ladies are both dozing off; at least I continued having a good trip with another quick park & grab. I took the exit off the highway here so that I could get one final stash before heading on the prague ring road; what was planned as one turned into two stops. Here, in the darkness I ran over the mud for a quick find.

As the last fid of the day, things are still the same. It’s dark and the ladies are both dozing off; at least I continued having a good trip with another quick park & grab. I took the exit off the highway, and after one find, I realized we weren’t rushing so I visited this nearby stash. It was a little fun to get this T4 cache, still a park & grab and without a ladder we figured it out. Prefab is all ok, we signed the log and from here headed home.
Let’s get some rest!
