Happily Ever After: came up to Disneyland today and found your brick. It is not too far from ours. On July 17, 2003, my husband proposed to me in front of the castle. He sent me on a scavenger hunt around the park gathering clues to find the final ( kinda sounds like a multi-cache, doesn’t it?). The final was the proposal. It was truly magical. Earlier that day we celebrated Disneyland’s birthday and I was chosen to be in the “Parade of the Stars”. The day was practically perfect in every way.

Meet Me at #20: Today marks 5 years since I found my very first cache. My friend introduced me to the game and created a monster! Since the first one, I have found 2191 more and don’t see an end in sight. This morning I left home early so I could take the time to grab a beach cache. It was the perfect morning for a walk but it was a bit chilly. So beautiful though. There was construction around the entrance to the parking lot and I didn’t realize I could still enter so I actually parked on the street about .35 miles away. Once I got to Tower #20, I assumed that was the spot (hence the cache title?) and began the search but to no avail. Maybe I should consult the GPSr and see if I was actually at GZ. Nope. Not by a long shot. Continued walking until I got to the right spot and lo and behold, there it was.

Saints Super Bowl Bound!: I have to admit that this was not the container I was expecting with a title like that. I expected a football or something Saints affiliated. Still, I loved the container and I give it a favorite point. It was perfect for today’s little milestone as well. Today my COTD streak reached 3 years! TFTC.

EZ Cache No.4-Further Out: Meant to stop here on my way to work this morning but my brain went into autopilot mode and I went my usual way to work. By the time I realized it, I didn’t have time to backtrack. So, I decided to do it on my way home. I actually remembered to get off at the right exit and made the grab. As I was signing the log the neighbor across the street came home and sat in the car on the phone and a pedestrian walked by. I stayed very still trying not to draw attention to myself. I don’t think they noticed me. I removed a candy cane and threw it away and added a penguin.

Civic Center Park: Had a Girl Scout meeting up the road today and had some extra time so made the grab. It didn’t take too long to get all the waypoints and make the find. I did however manage to loose the wire that attached it to the hiding spot. I tried to balance it nearish to where it was but I’m afraid it won’t stay for long.
