Benny ist freischaffender Detektiv in Schildow. Viel lässt sich dort nicht verdienen, da der Kundenstamm sehr überschaubar ist und die meisten Einwohner ihn schon kennen. Als die meisten seiner wenigen Klienten in den Urlaub verschwinden, entschließt er sich, selbst eine Pause einzulegen. Er träumt davon, geheime und vergessene Orte zu besuchen, Rätsel und Geheimnisse aufzudecken und schöne Landschaften zu sehen. Vielleicht kommt er eines Tages zurück nach Schildow und erfreut seine Klienten statt mit schmutzigen Geheimnissen der Partner und Nachbarn mit Geschichten über die große weite Welt.

Benny is a free-lance detective in Schildow. He doesn't earn much money, because the customer base is very small and most residents already know him. When most of his few clients went on vacation, he decides to take a break himself. He dreams of visiting secret and forgotten places, revealing mysteries and seeing beautiful landscapes. Perhaps he will come back to Schildow one day and delight his clients with stories about the big wide world instead of filthy secrets of the partners and neighbors.
