Current Goal

To visit as many caches as quickly as possible, this way reminding us all to remember the wonderful dedication of our troops and the brave wounded servicemen and women that this good cause is helping.

Help for Heroes (H4H)  was set up by Bryn and Emma Parry in 2007, to raise much needed funds to help wounded serviceman and woman returning to the UK from operations abroad. The charity is NOT politically biased and is non judgemental realising that conflicts happen under any government but what matters are the men and women who put themselves in harms way in the name of us all. Bryn also designed the coin too!!!
Photos of this amazing coin would be a poignant reminder of just how lucky we are. Not only to be safe, but able to enjoy our fab world of clip top boxes!!!

Please enjoy this coin and keep it moving to spread the word and make the charity known all over the caching world and beyond too perhaps, thank you.

If taken to events please ensure it is both logged in and out, as several of my bugs have gone to meets and simply vanished, thanks.

About This Item

MK-2 Front of fab coin

I hope this H F H No-2 geocoin will fair better than it's predecessor.
No-1 was a gift from Badgerbaby to mark 11-11-11, and also mark the passing of my husband who served in the RAF.
I left the first geo coin in cache GC2TBTY on the  13-11-11. It was picked up as stated on log, but not retrieved from cache by REDLIONFISH on the 15-11-11 and never heard of again, until now!!! After several emails (!) it is now out in a cache box, 4 months later!!! So, if a TB goes missing, never give up hope, keep nagging!!!
This No-2 is an early Mothers day gift from R.V.G. and fingers crossed, this geo coin will be logged correctly.
A beautiful coin, but it needs to spread the word... I will copy the blurb from the original too. So the full history of this coin can be fully understood. Thanks and enjoy!!

About this item:- size 70mm x 37.5 x 5mm. this big geocoin is chunky and very heavy weighing approx. 118g. It has a two tone finish. the base is Antique gold, the four bears are 3D relief and plated in nickel giving them a silver appearance, on a Union Flag.
The rear has a silhoutte and text . The medal ribbon is enamelled, and feels gritty to touch. Handling this coin I believe gives one a chance to just stop awhile and think. Enjoy.
