About This Item

This is a corrected travel bug page for CLAW as of 10/3/03. CLAW began his travels in "A is for Alex And Cache in the Gorge, in Oregon in the summer of 2003.
I am the first of Team Teasel's Groundspeak Travel Bugs and as any diver will tell you-bug I am! That's not to be confused with being a Crab because a crab I ain't! I am a bright red LOBSTER of respectable size with my travel bug tag chain wrapped about me better parts! I am esconced in a new zip-lock baggie that forces one to compress me somewhat to seal-not too unlike my livin'counterparts when they be in escape mode. Please attach postcards per ocean to me chain if you will, sos folks'll know what great waters remain yet unexplored. Thanky much!

    Planned on picking this critter up on thanksgiving and moving him on his way again, but there weren't any trackables in that cache, and no report of anyone moving him.

    Finally we were able to get out and do some caching. After visiting the Atlantic Ocean back in Feb, claw has found his way back into the woods to continue his journey.

    We took Claw to a beach on the Atlantic today. We planned in placing him in a cache in that area, but we had to abort the mission due to cold and baby stepping in ocean while we were photographing Claw.

    We went in search of Claw and found him. Weather permitting, we'll take Claw to the beach tomorrow. Tonight he's spending the night in a nice heated dog bed.
