My misson is to travel with my owner, Bagsfan5, and meet as many soldiers, veterans, and proud American citizens. Hopefully the geocachers who meet Bagsfan5 will share any military stories..... especially U.S. Army.
The United States Army played a vital role during my transition from adolescent into adulthood therefore earning a special place in my heart. During my service in the U.S. Army, I was stationed in Germany. This opened the door to a 16-year adventure as a civilian living in a small town in Bavaria, which lead to the opportunity to work for the German post office for 10 years. As all things seem to rotate in a full circle, I currently find myself serving the U.S. military once again as a clerk in the Department of V.A.
This coin is carried around in honor of all that the U.S. Army has allowed me to experience and achieve in my life. Of course there are many other vital elements to the formula, but this time is set aside to honor the government institute that allowed me to serve my country while teaching me responsibility, independence, teamwork, and loyalty.
Served most my time with the BIG RED ONE - 1st Infantry Division 2nd Battalion, 5th Field Artillery in Neu Ulm, Germany
