My Mission is to win the 2011 Christmas Amazing Race, to do this I must do several things.
1) Meet as many unique Cachers as I can
2) Meet as many caches as I can
3) Go to as many Countries as I can
4) Visit as many States/Provinces as I can
5) Travel more miles than the other 31 competitors.

About This Item

Barb's FAITH IN GOD

Replaced due to being lost and alone somewhere in the unknown. Only two tags survived the last race, sadly this was not one of them.

Christmas 2011 The Arnold Six Clan decided instead of buying extra things for their friend and families they would assign each a travel bug and race them for a year. Winner receiving Bragging Rights. 32 Travel Bugs are being activated each with their own flair.

Barb is the Mother-in-law, not you average T.V. Mother-in-law. A great mom who took great care of her kids.

Thanks for the fun.

Came up here to check on the cache after all of these rains, drop off some bugs and pick up some others. All’s well.

  • Enjoy your stay and the view

Listen to the Bells: I was up at the Children’s Museum with some of my Girl Scouts for World Thinking Day and we stopped here on the way home.

Visited 2/21/2019 Pengwinldy took it to Go Nuts for Donuts California - 3.27 miles  Visit Log

Go Nuts for Donuts: so found this one right where it should have been but be careful when uncovering it. The cover is in two pieces. The Container is rusted shut.

Visited 2/21/2019 Pengwinldy took it to Craft Brew Cache #4 California - 28.87 miles  Visit Log

Craft Brew Cache #4: caching on my way to work in between rain, hail and sunshine. Crazy weather this am. I was surprised to see so much activity here so early in the morning. The doors were open and I heard music. Oh well. Didn’t stop me from making the grab, right where I looked first. Added my signature penguin.

Visited 2/20/2019 Pengwinldy took it to nuts&BOLTs 2 California - 5.72 miles  Visit Log

Nuts and BOLTS 2: This morning before work, I (sadly) took my parents back to the airport so they could return home. I decided to go for the letterbox near here but there was no parking and I had no time for the walk. This was close and I’ve found others in this series so I knew what to look for. Had myself a seat and enjoyed the view as I made the grab. Signed the log and returned it in no time at all. Enjoyed watching the aircraft carrier head out to sea. Such a beautiful morning. Doesn’t even look like it’s gonna rain today but they’re saying it will-again.

Visited 2/19/2019 Pengwinldy took it to The Black Pearl California - 13.61 miles  Visit Log

The Black Pearl: This was my second stop of the day (first stop was a DNF). As I pulled up to GZ, the home owner was working in his yard right there. I parked across the street to see if I could wait him out. After awhile I decided to just go for it, figuring that he was aware of the cache. I approached him, said hello and asked if he knew about the cache. “The what?”, was his reply. After I explained it, he said, “oh, yeah, I’ve seen people looking around for that before. What did they call it?” “The Black Pearl”, I replied. “Well, they should change the name of it because, I don’t have the ship up any more. In fact, I just had George Washington and Abe Lincoln up for President’s Day. They’re over by the garage now. You should go take a picture”. And that I did. Right after I signed the log. Nice guy.
