Current Goal

Slow Poke made Florida well ahead of Zippy and has put TWICE the mileage on. Please send Slow Poke south for the winter! He spent the entire winter of 2004/2005 under the snow in Massachusetts.

About This Item

Slow Poke

Slow Poke is twin brother of Zippy, both released on the same day. Slow Poke was always slower than his brother, hence the name. He's in no hurry to get to Florida and will be perfectly happy to hang around other ponds on the way there. His favorite thing to do is hang around on some nice sunny rocks and get some rays.

Grabbed slowpoke today. The kids love him. I will pry him away from them soon and send him on his way. I also took some pics I will post for you when we drop him off. He's in good hands for the next few days...lol Im scared they will try to feed him soon... 😉
