Slow Poke made Florida well ahead of Zippy and has put TWICE the mileage on. Please send Slow Poke south for the winter! He spent the entire winter of 2004/2005 under the snow in Massachusetts.

About This Item

Slow Poke

Slow Poke is twin brother of Zippy, both released on the same day. Slow Poke was always slower than his brother, hence the name. He's in no hurry to get to Florida and will be perfectly happy to hang around other ponds on the way there. His favorite thing to do is hang around on some nice sunny rocks and get some rays.

Really rockin' here. Found Slow Poke TB on site @ #57 of 114 caches on the Highway 100, 100. Enjoyed the sunshine & companionship of another turtle before being retrieved. Slow Poke is awaiting dispatchment to Mother Nature's Children. Will be placed in Kangaroo Pouch of multi this week.

I looked at the history and this bug came straight from the North East to Fl without seeing much of America. 2 chioces, I can leave him in FL now or when I get back in a few weeks or take him home to a cache in IL. Your choice. Please let me know. Want to have him where you want him.

Grabbed up from the bug hotel in Orlando Conv Center. I will look to se where he wants to go and pass him along on his route. I fly a lot and will put big miles on him in a hurry. No slow poke here!
