Flutey's FJ

Flutey's FJ is a 2007 VooDoo Blue Toyota FJ Cruiser. We bought her in December 2012. It looks like the original owner never used her as intended, but added a lot of aftermarket goodies including leveling her, an ARB bumper, larger wheels and tires (yeah, there's a term for it but I don't know what it is), rock rails, and a subwoofer, which we promptly knocked off when I added her pinstriping during our first 4x4 venture. :-) What a blast! We've even had her up after some awesome 4x4 caches. Can't wait for more. yes

I spotted the Flutemobile again. This time near Haggens in Marysville.

I was getting gas at Costco at Smokey Point and glanced over and saw a vehicle which had several stickers that made me deduce there was a geocacher nearby. Grabbed my phone real quick to take a picture of what I was sure I would find- a TB # on something. Got a glimpse of the cacher putting her gas cap back on and thought "I know who that is-..........."). Quickly realized the first person I thought of was incorrect and the correct name came to mind right away! Then she was in her car, starting her engine and driving away- darn!!! Seeing the vanity tag license "Fluty" confirmed my thought as to the owner. Messaged her shortly after and Fluteface sent me the TB # so I could tell my silly story.
I was super excited to spot a geo-mobile that was not at an event! That has not happened very often for me at all even though I am always scanning cars when in parking lots.
