Current Goal

My goal is to travel as far as I can collecting coins from caches along the way. Once I have collected $10.00, please make a contribution on my behalf to your favorite charity and then send me out to "steal" some more.

Robin Hood

Robin Hood originated in North East Ohio. He "steals" from the rich and gives to the poor. Feel free to add some of your own coins to his loot. If you see that he has too much change, please cash them in for bills as it will be easier to transport from cache to cache. Don't let him collect too much loot though, or somebody may be tempted to ambush him! Lets try to keep a running total of how much he has collected and what charities he has donated to.

We picked Robin Hood up in the Ancient Forest Geocache. We did collect the other change in the cache and put it in his bag. He now has a dollar bill and four quarters in his loot. When we drop him off near Titusville on Sunday we will give him some more for his loot. My nine year old insisted we take him with us. She was not leaving there without him. Since Ancient Forest his being retired at the end of July she wanted to make sure he kept going along his way. Keep you posted on where we leave him and his loot.

Oh - and we forgot to add the coins in this cache to his loot! I recall seeing another 75 cents there, hopefully whoever picks him up collects the stash. Or maybe he is already doing this as we speak!

Robin Hood was fine camping companion. We canoed the Clarion River, climbed a fire tower, ate many toasted marshmallows. A chipmunk tried to steal his stash, but we scared it off. We added some change to his loot and exchanged it for a crisp $1 bill.

I met two odd fellows who offered to take me camping with them. Wine, women and song! Ok, maybe wine and song. Certainly a campfire, S'mores and other goodies.....
