Current Goal

Elma is tired of going round and round in small circles. She would like to go around in the largest circle possible circumnavigating the globe. Along the way, she would like to have her picture taken at as many carousels as she can. She has a particular affinity for the carousel in Missoula, Montana and wants to grab the brass ring there.

About This Item

Elma

Elma lives in her namesake town with her owner. Her owner was born in Missoula, Montana, but moved to Washington State the very same day that the Carousel in Missoula opened. Elma has heard lots about this carousel from her owner's parents who married in Caras Park (the site of Missoula's Carousel).

Elma's owner has decided to free her from her pole and let her roam the world. Elma has this big idea that she can circle the globe since she has had so much practice going around in circles. She would appreciate a lift from all who would take her on her journey.

Granny loves carousel horses, so we had to take Elma for a ride. Granny remembers the old Euclid Beach Carousel that she rode with her mother, and now if we go anywhere and there is a carousel she must ride it and it has to be the one that goes up and down. The Jester & Granny & Brother

Traveling to Milford Sound, I looked down and there was a cache right off my left wing - swerved into the woods, found this hobbit hill cache and snagged the Horse - will travel to Green Ohio next week to add some mileage to this carousel beauty!

While checking my Milford Road caches I was delighted to find 2 travel bugs at Lake Henry. Elma was dropped off later the same day at Deer Flat. Happily is away overseas again so quickly. However I was not so quick in logging the shift in caches.
