I decided to get this cache today. Close to home. Less drama. A bit slippery and woah, some really deep snow along the path. But it's a good thing a lot of the snow settled down because of all the recent rain. I spotted the cache from several meters away. Everything was in good shape here.

I attempted finding this cache a few months ago (still had snow on the ground), but had no luck. Since then I've noticed that the CO confirmed the presence of this cache several times. I was now very keen on avenging this DNF.
I got here today and still had no luck. I spent at least 20 minutes in the deep wet snow kicking/digging snow around. I tried a PAF but it was probably too early in the morning. Then I noticed a helpful previous log and I tried to position myself as the satellite view described. After a few more attempts of digging, I hit gold! Feels good to avenge a DNF! Cache is is great shape despite the weather.

I need to watch this movie. But I was able to figure out the coordinates somehow ;)
I was happy that the parking nearer to the cache was open today. But the whole lot was a skating rink this morning. There were parts of the trail that were very icy too - at one point I was about to slip and dall but ended up saving myself and ended up "skating" down a short hill. I liked the little tree climb here. Signed the log.

I needed a cache for this snowy sleety day. I decided to get this one because this could potentially be made into a P&G. The school on this street had a snow/remote learning day, so I was able to take care of business quickly without being noticed. I really enjoyed this puzzle!

I saw this cache got published and knew that finding it was ... time-sensitive. When I saw the temperature was 4 degrees this morning, I wasted no time to come and grab this cache. I can add mountaineering to my resume now. This plaza was slowly getting busy, but luckily no one was in this corner and no one noticed me climbing the snow bank.

Woohoo, first to find the new container/log! I drive by this area often and sometimes mused placing a cache here. Like they say, great men think alike! I found the cache after looking at a few spots. I gingerly retrieved the cache and signed myself in. No one in the plaza this morning except for a few Tesla drivers charging their cars.

Thanks for hosting another great GHMGC Winter Fun event res2100! This is probably my 4th or maybe 5th time to this event, but it's the first time I came with a sled. My daughter had a blast and fell into the ditch a bunch of times. Great day today, and the drive here was beautiful. Also great socializing with everyone and talking about my upcoming events!

What a difference a week can make! I was in the area a week ago approximately, and I didn't dare attempt attempt it since parking seemed impossible and a quick peek at GZ assured me of my icy death.
I checked the area today, and the snow had receded significantly and it wasn't too difficult reaching GZ while holding on to something. Quick find.

I came to this area to find a target cache - but after seeing GZ and the deep snow and slippery surfaces, good sense prevailed and I decided to go for an easier one instead. Quick run to this cache from the street. Signed the log and ran back to the car. Cache is doing well.
