This proxy of the Geo coin I picked up at the 2012 GeoTrain event in Oil City, PA. It was held at Oil City State park which is the site of the world's first commercial oil well and it all started in August 1865 when Colonel Edwin Drake struck oil at a depth of 69.5 feet. Boomstown sprang up almost instantly and was alive and well til around 1871.
