Rules for the Race:

  • All Travel Bugs and Geocoins must start in a geocache in Marion County.
  • A point system will be used to keep track of the leaders (point system provided below)
  • The race ends on 12/31/2013 at 11:59 pm
  • MOST IMPORTANT, HAVE FUN !!!
Point System:
  • 1 point = 100 miles traveled
  • 1 point = each logged "discovered"
  • 5 points = each time it is placed in a geocache
  • 10 points = each state the TB/Coin stops at
  • 10 points = photo of TB/Coin uploaded 
  • 20 points = attended an event
  • 25 points = if the TB/Coin leaves the United States
  • 10 points = for each different country the TB/Coin stops in

    Well I believe the race is over for this guy but he keeps tagging along with me! For a variety of reasons I haven't been a very active geocacher lately, but I do still enjoy finding a cache when I am on the road for this little guy to visit! Remind me the next time we have a MCC Wine tasting to pass this guy back over to you!

    F.A.L. hits P.I.R. ! Lucky to come up with a lunch time cache that was walkable from the TV compound! They moved us from outside the front stretch to outside of the backstretch.... WAY outside the backstretch! It put us close enough to a couple of caches that we have been eyeing for a few years but were too far from the old TV compound to get during lunch so I guess the move is OK! We found one and DNF'd the other one...
